Feb 1, 2012 Academic and REMAC meetings Canceled
Due to a scheduling conflict with the SEMSCO meeting we regrettably must cancel both the Academic and REMAC meetings on February 1st.
For those not aware Governor Cuomo's proposed State Budget includes proposals that could/would alter the structure of EMS regulation in New York State in an alarming manner (please see the attached starting on page 90). It has been decided to direct our resources towards the SEMSCO meeting on Wednesday. We understand some may be frustrated with these cancellations - however the future of NYS EMS (as we all know it) may hang in the balance here. Copy of the proposed legislation
