HeartCode® is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method. HeartCode® blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes a portion of the course at their own pace in a self-directed manner no matter where they are located and then schedule with an AHA Training Center (TC) to complete an in-person skills assessment. The online portion of these comprehensive eLearning programs use eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. For this 'Skills Session Only' option, the specific discipline HeartCode® online module is to be purchased personally by the student ( and completed prior to purchasing & scheduling an In-Person Skills Session. Providers first complete the online portion of a HeartCode® or Heartsaver® course and then schedule a hands-on skills session with a REMO AHA Instructor to complete the course requirements.
Access to the appropriate course Provider Manual eBook or eWorkbook is included with your eLearning purchase. You will be able to access the digital book from within the course.
Skills Session Costs
Blended eLearning skills sessions range from $77.93 up to $155.55 based on the AHA Discipline.
