As an American Heart Association Training Center, REMO has access to over one hundred AHA CPR Instructors that are in your community. We provide the highest level of patient care training available to providers of all backgrounds. Classroom
Students are with an AHA Instructor for their entire learning experience.

BLS - INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING

The BLS Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.

Blended
Online training with in-person skills session for CPR & psychomotor skills.

HEARTCODE® BLS

HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s BLS blended learning delivery method. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session.

• BLS Online Part 1. Upon successful completion of the online portion, including the written exam, students receive a Part 1 certificate of completion, which must be presented for parts 2 and 3.

• Part 2*, a hands-on skills practice session with an AHA ACLS Instructor

• Part 3*, a skills test with an AHA ACLS Instructor

This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

HeartCode ACLS is the AHA’s ACLS blended learning delivery method. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session.

The online portion of this comprehensive eLearning program uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings.

To receive an ACLS course completion card using this program, students must complete three parts:

• HeartCode ACLS Part 1. Upon successful completion of the online portion, including the written exam, students receive a Part 1 certificate of completion, which must be presented for parts 2 and 3.

• Part 2*, a hands-on skills practice session with an AHA ACLS Instructor

• Part 3*, a skills test with an AHA ACLS Instructor

Heartsaver FIRST AID CPR AED Classroom Course

AHA HEARTSAVER

Heartsaver® Courses

Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. For many Heartsaver courses, students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.

Blended Courses Updated to reflect Guidelines 2015 CPR & ECCHeartsaver Blended Learning courses include an online portion and a hands-on session. The online portion provides the flexibility of completing training at your own pace, either at work, home, or wherever you have Internet access. The hands-on portion includes a skills practice and testing session conducted in-person with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor.

Heartsaver First Aid Online
This course covers first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.

Heartsaver CPR AED Online The skills learned in this course will help you recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until EMS arrives.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED OnlineThis course is designed to prepare you to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online
This course teaches students information needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Initial Provider Course requires approximately 4.5 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing.  Renewal Course requires approximately 3.5 hours, including skills practice and skills testing.   *course time based on 1 instructor: 6 student: 2 manikins

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive First Aid, CPR, and AED knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card.

  • Part 2, a hands-on skills practice session with an authorized AHA Heartsaver Instructor or Heartsaver Skills Evaluator™ within 60 days
