This is a refresher course for those who are currently EMTs and are looking to recertify. *ONLY REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE IF YOU HAVE A NYS EMT NUMBER*
Class Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Location: REMO, 24 Madison Ave Extension, Albany, NY 12203
Challenge Exam: August 24th, 2024 at 9AM
Start Date: August 27th, 2024
Practical Skills Exam: December 7th, 2024

Registration Information
All students must pay course tuition upon registration.
Students who are affiliated are those who currently work or volunteer with an EMS agency. Hospitals, urgent cares, doctors offices, etc, are not EMS agencies.
Students who are unaffiliated are those who do not work or volunteer with an EMS agency. Hospitals, urgent cares, doctors offices, etc, are not EMS agencies.
EMS agencies can request an $400 reimbursement from the NYSDOH BEMS. In order for an EMS agency to be reimbursed for tuition paid, they must submit proof of the member's certification and the receipt for payment of the member's tuition for the course they completed. Affiliated students are those who are members of NYS EMS Agencies (hospitals, urgent cares, doctors offices are not EMS agencies). Those who indicate that they are affiliated with an EMS agency must note which agency they are affiliated with. EMS agencies will verify membership.
