Regional Emergency Medical Organization
REMO consists of the Regional Emergency Medical Services Council of the Hudson Mohawk Valleys (REMSCO), the Regional Medical Advisory Committee (REMAC) and the Regional EMS Program Agency, operating in a six county region in the State of New York.
The REMO region
The 3500 square miles in the REMO region include the counties of Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady, serving a population of over 860,000 people and coordinating an Emergency Medical Services System that answers over 130,000 emergency medical calls annually.
